Bruno: Hello Victoria. What is cinema for you?
Victoria: Cinema is a powerful medium that allows me to tell my stories.

Bruno:  What do you want to express in your films?
Victoria: As a filmmaker, I strive to create stories that are thought-provoking
and emotionally resonant. Whether it's exploring complex human
relationships or tackling important social issues, I want my films to
spark conversations and leave a lasting impact on viewers.

Bruno: Who are your favorite filmmakers?
Victoria: I have many favorite filmmakers, but some of my top picks include Noah
Baumbach, Greta Gerwig, Timothy Burton, Christopher Nolan and Quentin
Tarantino. I admire their unique styles and their ability to push the
boundaries of the medium.

Bruno:  What is more important, text or image?
Victoria: Both text and image are essential components of cinema. While the
script provides the foundation for the story, the visual elements are
what bring it to life on screen. A great film strikes a balance
between the two.

Bruno:  Wath is going to be your next work?
Victoria: I am currently in the early stages of developing a new project, but I
can't reveal too much about it just yet! Suffice it to say that it
will explore some themes and ideas that I am very passionate about.

Bruno:  How has war affected art?
Victoria: Unfortunately, the war froze Ukrainian film production. Most
representatives of the profession remained without work. The only way
to ensure that Ukrainian cinema did not die is to look for ways to
create it with the help of foreign productions.

Bruno:  How have you seen cinema evolve over the years?
Victoria: I think cinema has become much more diverse and inclusive over the
years, with filmmakers from all over the world bringing their unique
perspectives and styles to the medium. Advances in technology have
also made it possible for filmmakers to create more immersive and
visually stunning films than ever before.

Bruno:  Has COVID changed cinema?
Victoria: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the film industry,
with many theaters closing and productions being delayed or canceled.
However, it has also led to new innovations and opportunities, such as
the rise of virtual cinema and streaming services. I think the
pandemic has forced filmmakers to adapt and think creatively about how
to share their work with audiences in new ways.

Bruno:  Do you think cinema is the major art?
Victoria: While I believe that cinema is an incredibly important art form, I
don't think it's necessarily more significant than other forms of art
such as literature, music, or visual art. Each medium has its own
unique strengths and challenges, and each has the potential to make a
profound impact on society and culture.
