Brice Mackie: Cinema is magical for me. It is one of my greatest passions. The art of making movies is therapeutic, rewarding, and brings me great joy.

Brice Mackie: My main influences are simply experiencing life itself. People, places, and things. I tend to my movies about my own journey in this life.

Brice Mackie: My favorite filmmaker is Stanley Kubrick.

Brice Mackie: My favorite writer is P.T. Anderson.

Brice Mackie: I believe the main focus of cinema is most powerful as art, not simply entertainment.

Brice Mackie:  Utopia for me is knowing my films helped an audience member feel better through the tough times in life.

Brice Mackie:  My main message of my film is to allow people to laugh and know life can be silly.

Brice Mackie: My next project is a romantic comedy starring my wife and myself.
